Hello hivers , hope y'all are doing great! Been long since I posted anything about food. So here's me and my friends trying out this new food place called the US PIZZA that has recently opened in the city. A little backstory about how we ended up at this place.
It was a bright sunny morning on 30th march and today was the sports meet of my college. Finally after 2 years into the pandemic we are getting to attend events at our college campus. A lot has been cancelled due to covid19 restrictions in the past 2 years so we didn't want to miss this at any cost. We had our hopes high but this sports meet was a big time flop show (you will get to know why in a while). The main reason we attend college events is for its baila (where in we all dance together for the DJs beats).
Firstly we had to stand under the scorching sun in this summer for an hour or more without water being provided, this is where they got me pissed.
Just look at our fake smiles after getting roasted in sorching heat.
Once this got over we had to wait 5 to 6 more hours just for the baila. We had some time to kill in our hands. Its always so hard for us to pick up a place to go eat and chill. After narrowing down some places we hit this new place which was pretty close to our college.
Coming to the main part, here is what we had:
This was the best thing that we ordered. Its called 'cool passion' , combination of pineapple juice, passion syrup and lemonade. Amazing drink and very refreshing specially for the summer! This was priced Rs.120 (1.57USD)
This is the texas barbeque pizza. The best pizza among all 3 of them. For someone who doesn't love toppings that's a lot. It has chicken sausage, bbq chicken, sweet corn, very nicely sliced olives layered on the cheese. This was priced at Rs.245 (3.21 USD)
Drinks become are soulmate during the summer. This one is lychee black current drink, tasted really good. It was a combination of lychee and black current syrup as the name suggests served with the bits of lychee. This was priced at Rs.75 (0.98 USD)
This margherita pizza was a little meh cause the crust was very soft. It felt more like we were having cheese on bread. This was priced at Rs.299 for a medium size (3.92 USD)
This is called the hot stuff. Another pretty good pizza, doesn't justify its name tho (This wasn't spicy). It was priced at Rs.225 (2.95 USD)
This veg burger was very average, nothing great or nice about it, had stuffings of veg patty, cabbage and onions. This was priced Rs.99 (1.30 USD)
Here's a little sneak peak into the ambience
The best part about the place is the ambience . Although its a nice place to chill with friends the food is pretty average (whatever we tried).
