Mackerel Masala Fry is locally known as Bangude masala fry. It's one of the famous dishes in Mangalore. And trust me, it's very easy to make.
Ingredients:
- Oil
- Fish
- Red Chilli
- Tamarind
- Turmeric Powder
- Onion
- Green chilli
- Garlic
- Cumin Seeds
- Salt
Instructions:
- Put the red chilli, turmeric, tamarind and salt in a grinder and make a paste.
- Now marinate the cut fish with a bit of the paste and leave for an hour.
- After an hour, take a pan and heat oil and then fry the marinated fish and keep aside.
- Take a vessel and heat oil.
- Fry the cut onion and garlic.
- Once brown, add the remaining left over masala and stir well.
- Now carefully add the fried fish.
- Let it cook for a while.
Boom! Your Mackerel Masala Fry is ready to be served!
