Hello my dear friends!

I hope you are all fine. I'm pretty good. I just have busy days at work. My surgery date is very close and I have work to do. That's why I work hard. I'm glad I'm going to have the surgery. Because I will rest at home!

I have a great recipe for you today. I'm sure everyone loves potatoes. When I think of potatoes, the first thing that comes to my mind is chips! I can't live without chips. That's why I came to you with a great recipe for chips that you can make at home. But before going into the details of the recipe, I would like to talk about the harms of packaged foods.

We are an industrialized world. That's why packaged foods have a great place in our lives. We are forced to consume these packaged foods, albeit unintentionally. Foods can lose their nutrients during the packaging process. And it uses many preservative additives to extend the shelf life of packaged foods. These protective additives also negatively affect our health. It triggers many diseases from obesity to diabetes, from cancer to Alzheimer's, from Parkinson's to cardiovascular diseases. That's why we should stay away from packaged foods as much as we can. We can ferment our own yogurt at home. Instead of cooking ready-made soups, we can try easy-to-make vegetable soups at home. When we want chips, we can make it ourselves. As in my recipe. :) Now I want to tell you a little bit about how to make potato chips at home.

Peel the skins off the potatoes and slice them thinly. You can use ready-made choppers for this. The thinner you cut your potatoes, the crispier they will be. We wash the thinly sliced potatoes copiously to drain the starch. If necessary, soak in cold water for a while. Then we put the potatoes on the paper towel and let them dry well. After the potatoes are dry, we throw the potatoes one by one into the hot oil. I used olive oil and sunflower oil together. We take the fried potatoes out of the oil. Finally, you can add the spices and salt you want on them and serve. If you want a healthier chip, you can also bake it in the oven.

*In addition, the sauces next to the chips are completely handmade.

See you in the next recipe. Take care of yourselves!
