Indian street food were very famous. Not only because of tastes but also the variety that they serve. From a tiny snack item to spicy starters to main course. Street food of India have everything that may bring delight to everyone.
Though, I must admit most of the item available were vegetarian, but the taste can be enjoyed by everyone. Finding a non-veg dish is not an issue as well. Mostly chicken based, but this time I found a place where they cook Mutton on the street with some authentic cooking style.
Well the plate says it all, the black Mutton pieces were properly cooked and served to make anyone hungry, however I was more amazed to find the cooking style of it, which I never seen it before.
These Mutton were cooked on earthen pots, over a coal stove.
Yeas...watching it cooking on the street , with the aroma spread far off places. I stilll need to discover the cooking technique, but the shop owner shared that it was a traditional way to cook the recipe, tge Mutton pieces were slowly cooked inside the small pot, and it was served like that only.
No doubt, the aroma and later the taste is enough to make me starving, hungry and just savor on it. It was deliciously made and with awesome taste.
Enjoying such recipe on the street , is fantastic way of relishing the life and also to explore such kind of unnoticed street food of India. Do try to taste such authentic tradional dishes on your next visit to India.
Mutton on earthen pots cooked over coal - I can smell the aroma man.. It's worth going to traditional way of cook - I miss them at home, we get that taste only when we go to native place.
Such thing just make the food so delicious and these are found only in the traditional area...
