How to Make Banana Magnolia? | Taste Close to Real Recipe

Hello Guys!

Is there anyone out there who doesn't like sweets? I love it too much even my mom thinks I'm the sweet monster. The reason for my weight loss is because of my fondness for this dessert. I still love myself anyway. I craved too many sweets today. Maybe it's because my period is approaching (that's an excuse ahaha). While I was at home, I wanted to make the dessert myself. Here I come to you today with a wonderfully delicious Magnolia Bakery recipe. It is not exactly the original recipe, but you can be sure that you will get a taste close to the original. I tried many magnolias before, but this time I really liked the taste.


Materials Needed

Vanillin (5gr)
Milk (500ml)
Butter (35gr)
Cream (200ml)
Banana (2 pieces)
Wheat Starch (30gr)
Baby biscuits (200-250 gr)
Powdered Sugar (120- 130gr add according to your taste)
Egg (1 whole, the other only yolk to be added)

Start adding the ingredients before turning on the stove. Pour milk and cream into a deep saucepan.

Then add salt. I always sprinkle a little salt on milk desserts. I think it enhances the flavor of the dessert. I always add sugar to a salty recipe. They complement each other very well. Then let's add the starch.

Add the starch and mix it with a whisk. Then add the eggs. First I cracked an egg and added the whole. When I cracked the second egg, I only added the yolk. I actually added 1.5 eggs.

I mix all the ingredients again. Now it's time to turn on the stove. Turn on the stove on low. The dessert may burn if you open too much. Therefore, mix it patiently until it boils over low heat.

Turn off the stove when the dessert boils. Then add butter and vanilla while hot.

Mix again.

It shouldn't be too runny and not too solid. You should leave it in a slightly runny consistency. It starts to thicken as it cools. If the pudding has thickened too much, you can dilute it with milk. The first gif is when I turned off the stove when it was hot. The other gif is when it starts to get darker when it cools down.

Cut the biscuits for the baby into 3-4 pieces. Thinly slice the bananas. I sliced it thinly because I don't like it too thick. It dissolves much better in the mouth while eating.

I usually prepare my magnolias for presentation in a large bowl. This time, I also prepared my debt in a messy style. Spread the custard mixture on the base.

We add the biscuits and bananas.

We pour pudding on it. Do the same until the pudding is gone. Add custard and banana-biscuits respectively.I like it with lots of ingredients so I added lots of biscuits and bananas.

I flatten the top layer by pressing it with the help of a spoon so that the custard goes to the bottom. When you apply light pressure, the pudding spreads all over.

Finally, I ground the remaining biscuits into powder and poured them on the top for decoration. Then I put it in the fridge to rest for 4 hours.

There was custard at the bottom of the pot. I added it to a large glass so that it would not be wasted. If you wish, you can also prepare individual glasses as I did. This way, it is very practical to eat.

Instead of bananas, you can choose strawberries or any other fruit you like. I also like the strawberry one, but I couldn't find any strawberries because the season is over.

You don't have to put too much on the biscuit. I added too much because I like it. If you add less, it will be a more fluid and softer dessert. The taste was amazing. I hope you try it and taste this flavor.
