Usually, my wife doesn't like eating outside and always prefers homemade food. Sometimes, she even tells me that we are an exceptional couple, where the husband loves eating outside, but the wife doesn't like that. It is true that I love eating outside to taste different foods and explore the varieties of foods that are often very difficult to prepare at home with our tight schedules. But she is also right as most of the time, the outside foods are delicious, but they can be reversely detrimental to our health. In a country like Bangladesh, restaurant inspections are not properly maintained. Also, many dishonest people use expired raw materials and through unhygienic procedures. And many people in our country suffer from many stomach and digestion-related diseases. But it is also true that our immunity has increased so much that many unhealthy foods are not affecting our bodies nowadays, which can be very troublesome for many foreigners.
But my wife loves eating Pizzas, which is one of her favorites, with extra cheese. The interesting fact is that she refused many proposals to dine in many restaurants, but she never disagreed with enjoying Pizza. And we enjoyed pizza every time I visited Bangladesh during my holidays. Previously, we had our Pizza time in one of the Best Pizza shops in the Uttara Dhaka region, the Pizzaburg, on which I have written a blog already. This time, we have our pizza time in a Local pizza shop named HEAVEN PIZZA, which is a 3/4 mins walking distance from our apartment in Dhaka City. We have selected this restaurant as the closest one as Pizzaburg is far from our home. Unfortunately, we found this local pizza shop to be a better option when we compared the price and the quality of the pizza.

The location of the HEAVEN PIZZA shop is by Ranavola Road, sector number 10 of Uttara Dhaka. It is just to the opposite side of the entrance to road number 7, and our apartment is currently near this location. We also found the shop by accident when we were returning home by walking after doing some shopping at the nearby vegetable market. These are fast food shops that sell almost all kinds of fast food, such as burgers, pasta, and many others. Most importantly, the prices of these items are significantly cheaper than those of other restaurants on the main roads. If I compare the price of this shop with the Pizzaburg, the same PIZZA was 1 round 1300 BDT, but here that kind of PIZZA is only 500 BDT. Only differences in the quantity of some sauces and chicken meat but the amount of Cheese was more in this local shop than the Pizzaburg.
The main reason behind such a high price is the location in a very local area, with no decoration, no air-conditioning, no waiters to serve you, and no fancy decoration for photo shooting here. The tables and chairs were full of dust as they were just by the local road without glass protection. The cooking area was a deeper section, but they could use glass to protect the sitting area and cooking area to make the shop more hygienic. You can see that the innermost side of the shop is covered with random photos, and there is no proper planning to make it beautiful. And for the inappropriate seating arrangement, we have taken our Pizza to our home. As it was 2/3 minutes' walking distance, we got the pizza, which was properly hot and fresh to enjoy perfectly.

Though the shop was not so attractive and the price was super comfortable, the taste was really shocking for us. So, we ate a whole 12-inch Pizza within 15 minutes, and we felt we enjoyed the Pizza a lot. There are some temporary roadside shops that sell further cheaper Pizza that are not so delicious, and the quality of the ingredients they use are not up to the proper level. So, in overall experience, this shop is offering great services for being a relatively new shop in the area. I will make a follow-up blog next time about their quality after 6 months in my coming summer vacation.

I do; the Pizza in China is almost the same in taste. I also eat Pizza here, but not too much, maybe once in a couple of months. I hope I will share some Bangladeshi traditional foods in the coming blogs.

This sounds like a great pizza spot! It’s amazing how sometimes local shops can surprise us with better taste and prices than big restaurants. I totally get why you took the pizza home,sometimes the best food places don’t have the best seating. The extra cheese must have made it even better!

You are right, we often get surpprisef from local shops and good sellers have less seeats in the shops. Usually I prefere home food too but I truly love eating pizza out but also at home my hubby make a wonderful pizza, he is from south Italy and know well how to made the perfect dough.
