THE MAKING OF PUFF PUFF

Hello Hiveians. I will like to show and teach us my special recipe for the preparation of puff puff.

INGREDIENTS:
Flour
Water
Yeast
Nutmeg
Salt
Sugar

YEAST PROOFING:
Time: 4 to 6 minutes
Mix half of a cup of warm water, 1 teaspoon sugar and yeast in a bowl then cover till the yeast becomes bubbly.

PREPARATION:
Mix all dry ingredients; flour, sugar, salt, nutmeg and cocoa (optional, you can only add cocoa to your batter if only you want to prepare a chocolate puff puff)

Pour the proofed yeast, dry ingredients and 1 cup of water together in a bowl then mix until the batter is lump free then cover for an hour.

After an hour, open the mixed batter, mix well again and then pour your groundnut oil in a clean frying pan, set on fire and after it might have heated for awhile then you begin to fry.
