Ingredients;

  • 25og of wheat flour
  • An egg
  • An egg yolk
  • A teaspoon of salt powder
  • A teaspoon of sugar
  • A teaspoon of yeast
  • Three tablespoons of warm water
  • 60ml of water
  • A teaspoon of butter

  • One and half tablespoons of oil
  • Half teaspoon of chilli pieces
  • 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric powder
  • One and half teaspoons of pepper powder
  • About 100 grams of boiled and mashed fish
  • About one hundred grams of boiled and mashed potatoes
  • About half a large onion, finely chopped
  • A handful of finely chopped curry leaves
  • About four cloves of garlic, finely chopped
  • Two green chili pods, chopped very small
  • Chopped very small piece of ginger

The method of making;

First of all, add three tablespoons of warm water to a teaspoon of yeast, stir and keep aside for about 5 minutes.

In the meantime, add the flour to another bowl and add one teaspoon of butter and half a teaspoon of salt to it and stir.

Then add the teaspoon of sugar, the egg and the active yeast mixture and stir.

Now add water little by little and prepare the flour mill.

Knead this flour well for about ten minutes until it becomes very soft.

Add a teaspoon of oil to the floured bowl and add this flour mixture to it.

Add another teaspoon of oil on this flour mill and spread it well and cover it with a wet cloth to double in size and leave it for about an hour.

In the meantime, let's prepare the filling for this fish bread. For that, add a tablespoon of oil to the pan and when the oil heats up, add finely chopped ginger and garlic.

Then add chopped green chillies, curry leaves and chopped onions.

Now add turmeric powder and remaining salt powder.

In the meantime, let's prepare the filling for this fish bread. For that, add a tablespoon of oil to the pan and when the oil heats up, add finely chopped ginger and garlic.

Similarly, add the chilli pieces and fry them.

Keep the stove on very low flame and mix the boiled and mashed potatoes and fish.

Now add this potato/fish mixture to the onion mixture, stir and remove from the heat.

Now let's take the flour mill that has been kept aside for about an hour and remove the air bubbles.

Now sprinkle some flour on the tray and roll this flour mill as shown in the picture.

Divide into six parts.

Knead well again one ball for two minutes each.

Apply oil well on the thinning tray and form one ball into a circle as shown in the picture and thin it out.

Keep 2 teaspoons of the prepared filling.

Spread an oil paper on the baking tray.

Bake for thirty minutes at 180 degrees Celsius in the preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius for ten minutes.
