Today, I was literally craving for some chocolaty stuff and was in no mood of baking a proper chocolate cake.
So ... to get over my chocolate and sugar rush ... I decided to make the very famous instant chocolate cake in a bowl instead of mug. I looked up Ranveer Brar 's instant chocolate mug cake recipe and twisted it a bit as per my own taste and convenience. To make it more guilt free, I topped up my cake with lots of fresh berries. The fresh juicy berries and warm chocolate cake combination was just wowwwww !!
So here goes my recipe for Instant eggless chocolate cake in bowl/mug
Ingredients:
- 1.5 tbsp - all purpose flour
- 1 tbsp - castor sugar
- 1/2 tsp - baking powder
- 2 tbsp - butter
- 1 tbsp - flax seed powder ( soak it in 2 tbsp water for 15 mins)
- 1 tbsp - Cocoa powder ( I used Hershey's Cocoa Powder)
- 1 tbsp - Chocolate syrup ( Again Hershey's)
- 1 tbsp - Choco chips ( I used Hershey's AGAIN 🙈)
- 1/4 cup - Icing sugar for dusting
- 1/2 cup - Mixed Berries
Method
- Take microwave safe bowl or mug. Add all dry ingredients amd mix.
- Now add all wet ingredients, mix till there are no lumps.
- Microwave on high heat for 90 seconda i.e. 1 minute 30 seconds.
- Remove and dust with icing sugar.
- Garnish with chocolate syrup, berries of your choice and serve hot !!!
Instead of berries, you can add any fresh fruit of your choice like kiwi, mangoes, strawberry etc.
