Hello, hello, hello!
How's life? I have been gardening these days, in the rain sometimes, in fact😁 I planted peonies, astilbe, and some pretty flowers that are supposedly will attract Hummingbirds too 😍 Here is crossing fingers they all will grow nicely.
Today I planted some more, but for the kitchen. Garlic, ginger, turmeric, and basil. The indoor gardening planter has chilies growing 😍
But enough about plants for now.
I baked cookies, 4 differ cookies in one day 😍 No hassle cookies, I must say as I only used 1 same recipe to make all 4.
Yep. From 1 basic recipe, you can come up with various cookies in the end. Saaaawwweeettt 😉
Here is cookie number 1, Nastar, Indonesian pineapple tart cookies.
Dough
3 1/2 c AP flour
3/4 c icing sugar
3 yolks
1 lb butter
Jam
1 pineapple
1/3 c sugar
A generous pinch of cinnamon powder
A tiny pinch of fine sea salt
Egg Wash
1 yolk

This is the season here for planting different plants. You planted already, and happy to hear that they are growing more.
