Hoy me animé a participar en el concurso de comida amarilla de esta maravillosa comunidad, como se dice que los color representan las emociones siempre he escuchado que el color amarillo es el color de la energía , así que les muestro una receta sencilla, nutritiva, que te aportará mucha fibra y una pequeña cantidad de grasa, además de muchas vitaminas, minerales y proteínas. Se trata de una crema de auyama, apio y pollo, la cual me enseñó mi hermana a elaborar cuando me estrene como madre y les cuento que es la preferida de mi hijo, también cuando enfermé de cáncer mi hermana me la preparaba cuando estaba con el proceso de las quimioterapias, ya que ésta me ayudaba a restablecer mi estómago, porque no me provocaba comer nada. Esta crema no sólo es sencilla de hacer, sino que además sabe deliciosa y es muy cremosa por la exquisita combinación de sabores.
Today I decided to participate in the yellow food contest of this wonderful community, as it is said that colors represent emotions I have always heard that the color yellow is the color of energy, so I show you a simple, nutritious recipe, which will bring you a lot of fiber and a small amount of fat, plus many vitamins, minerals and proteins. This is a cream of pumpkin, celery and chicken, which my sister taught me to make when I became a mother for the first time and I tell you that it is my son's favorite, also when I was sick with cancer my sister prepared it for me when I was in the process of chemotherapy, because it helped me to restore my stomach, because it did not cause me to eat anything. This cream is not only simple to make, but also tastes delicious and is very creamy because of the exquisite combination of flavors.

300 grs de auyama, 02 apios, 100 grs de pechuga de pollo, 02 cebollines, 01 cebolla, 03 dientes de ajo, 01 cucharada de paprika, 01 cucharada de cúrcuma rallada, 01 puñado de cilantro, 02 cucharadas de aceite, 01 litro de agua, sal y pimienta, ajonjoli al gusto.

300 grams of pumpkin, 02 celery, 100 grams of chicken breast, 02 scallions, 01 onion, 03 cloves of garlic, 01 tablespoon of paprika, 01 tablespoon of grated turmeric, 01 handful of cilantro, 02 tablespoons of oil, 01 liter of water, salt and pepper, sesame seeds to taste.

Para empezar con esta sencilla receta lo primero que hacemos es lavar y pelar la auyama, el apio, el cebollín, la cebolla y el ajo y cortarlos en cubos.
To start with this simple recipe, the first thing to do is to wash and peel the pumpkin, celery, chives, onion and garlic and cut them into cubes.

Luego lavamos y cortamos por la mitad la pechuga de pollo.
Then wash and cut the chicken breast in half.

En una olla agregamos el aceite y salteamos la cebolla, el cebollín, el ajo y la pechuga por uos minutos.
In a pot add the oil and sauté the onion, chives, garlic and breast for a few minutes.

Seguido incroporamos la auyama, el apio, agregamos el agua.
Then add the pumpkin, celery and water.

Condimentamos con la sal. la pimienta y la paprika, tapamos y cocinamos a fuego bajo.
Season with salt, pepper and paprika, cover and cook over low heat.

Cuando esté hirviendo destapamos y añadimos el cilantro y la cúrcuma rallado, volvemos a tapar y cocinamos hasta que ablande, apagamos y dejamos reposar unos minutos.
When it is boiling, uncover and add the coriander and grated turmeric, cover again and cook until soft, turn off and let stand a few minutes.

Ya reposada llevamos a la licuadora añadiendo los vegetales y el caldo poco a poco para que no quede muy espesa, el pollo lo reservamos. Licuamos hasta conseguir una mezcla homogénea. Yo utilie tres tazas.
Once it is rested, we take it to the blender adding the vegetables and the broth little by little so that it is not too thick, the chicken we reserve it. Blend until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. I used three cups.

Y listo! la vertemos en los envases. Le añadimos ajonjolí tostado, el pollo desmechado. Esta preparación me dio para dos porciones.
And that's it! pour it into the containers. Add toasted sesame seeds and the shredded chicken. This preparation gave me enough for two servings.
