Oh man, it looks horrible! While the pandemic appeared, a lot of online ordering was done here. Not just by us, but by many people, especially when the restaurants had to close, it felt good that we could at least support some of them by ordering online. There are 2 big food ordering companies here, and one of them is considerably better than the other but charges a much higher delivery fee where the other often has free delivery. I have to admit, that whenever I complain, there is always some sort of compensation. With the less great company, it's often a higher compensation than the other one that usually offers free delivery tokens only. BUT I know not that you should let your voice be heard because otherwise nothing will change. I hope they at least offered you some sort of compensation as well?
Funny thing is that when you browse through our online food delivery apps nowadays (since a month or 6 this is the case) you will find many supermarkets added, but also normal stores and people with webshops that added their store there. Quite lucrative as you can deliver your items to the client the same day instead of dealing with postal companies (which is a pain here :) )
One of the upsides and good things that came forward due to the pandemic, people getting creative and this is a big plus if you ask me. Too bad most of the other things coming forward from it are horrible ;)
I have many many good experiences with ordering food online. It saved me during pandemics, during my sick days, and so on.
We should check the ratings. But because of false advertisement, it's become difficult. Anyway, it was a bad experience, I have to be careful about this from next.

Oh I agree totally, it would have been a lot harder during the pandemic while mostly inside. I totally appreciate all the shops and stores stepping up and adding their products to those delivery services as well! It's cheaper than normal delivery. And the thing I hate the most about false advertisement is the fake pictures. I usually have a nose for them, but if I miss it, opening the order will make it clear instantly. Have a nice day!
