All of the recipes that I used are my own choice you can add more recipes as want you want I just wanna show how I cooked my spaghetti.
My Ingredients
List Of Ingredients
- 450 grams Spaghetti Pasta
- 500 grams Spaghetti Sauce(Sweet Style)
- Small Pack of Sweet Banana Ketchup
- 4 pieces Hotdog
- 1/4 kg Ground Pork(Giniling na Baboy)
- 1/2 Onion
- 4 Gloves Garlic
- 1 Tablespoon Sugar
- 3 Tablespoons Cooking Oil
- 8 to 10 Cups Water
- Cheese
- Salt & Ground Black Pepper
Cooking Preparation
Every time I cook I always wash all the recipes as a needed wash to make sure the food we eat is clean. Before I start to cook I prepared all the recipes that I needed to make sure I don't miss important recipes.
I bought 450 grams of Spaghetti Pasta since we just only 4 the quantity size of the pasta was enough for us.
The Spaghetti Sauce that I used is a "Sweet Style Spaghetti Sauce" because we love a sauce a little bit sweet.
Like in traditional Filipino Spaghetti I used Ground Pork or Giniling na Baboy in Tagalog. But some of them use Corned Beef instead of Ground Pork.
I sliced 4 pieces of Hotdog into small rounded pieces.
For more sweetness, I used Sweet Banana Ketchup.
I sliced a 1/2 of Cheese into small pieces.
I also sliced a 1 pieces Carrot, 1/2 pieces Onion, and 4 Gloves of Garlic into the minced cut.
Cooking Instruction
After I prepared all the recipes that I needed for my Filipino Style Spaghetti I just wanna show you how I cooked my spaghetti.
First I boiled 10 cups of water for the pasta I added salt instead of oil and I wait until the water is already boiled and hot. My advice is don't put the pasta while the water is still cold just wait for the water boiling and then you can now add the pasta. I also cut the pasta in half to make sure all the pasta submerge in the hot water and then wait until the pasta is cooked.
How To Know If The Pasta Is Already Cooked?
I wanna share this technique with you of how to know if the pasta is already cooked. I've learned this technique when I worked in one of the fast food. If you want to know if the pasta is already cooked use a fork or utensils that can grab pasta. Grab a piece of pasta using a fork and then cut it in any part of the pasta and then look at the inside of the pasta. If the pasta has no hard color white inside it means the pasta is already cooked. But if you see a hard color white inside of the pasta it means the pasta is not done yet.
Using this technique you can prevent overcooked and uncooked spaghetti pasta. Before I forgot you have to make sure you have to mix the pasta in every 2 minutes to make sure your pasta does not stick together.
The Spaghetti Sauce
When the spaghetti is done I've next to cook the spaghetti sauce. First I put the cooking fry on the burner and I wait until the fryer is hot and I put the 3 Tablespoons Cooking Oil. When the cooking oil was hot I put the mince onion first and then I saute the onion.
After the onion, I put the minced garlic next and I saute them together.
I added the minced carrot next and then I mixed them all together and I saute until it's turned a half-cooked.
After the minced carrot looks already half-cooked I added the ground pork and then I saute it until becomes oily. When the ground pork released an oil it means the ground is already cooked.
When the ground pork is already cooked I added the hotdog next and then I saute them all together and then I wait until the hotdog is done.
When the onion, garlic, carrot, ground pork, and hotdog are already cooked I pour the spaghetti sauce and then I mixed it.
After I pour the spaghetti I pour the ketchup next and then I mixed it. Not all Filipino's used ketchup but for some reason, I used ketchup for adding flavor and becoming a little bit sweet of my sauce.
After I pour the ketchup I pour a 1/2 cup of water next and then I mixed it and then I grab the fryer lid I put it at the top of the fryer and I wait until it's boiling.
After a minute the sauce starts to boil and then I added the cheese. The cheese is the reason why the sauce makes it creamy.
After the cheese melted I added 1 tablespoon of sugar, sugar is my recipe to make the sauce sweet. I also added some of the recipes like salt and black pepper and then I wait until the sauce is done.
My Filipino Style Spaghetti
After the spaghetti pasta and spaghetti sauce are done I grab a plate and then I put some spaghetti pasta at the top I put a spaghetti sauce and I added cheese at the top of the sauce. Now my Filipino Style Spaghetti is ready to serve. On most Filipino occasions like Birthdays, Baptism, Weeding, or even Christmas they cooked spaghetti because it's too many and not too expensive. Since I was a kid spaghetti is one of my favorite pasta because it is so delicious until now even my two kids love spaghetti too.
What do you think about my Filipino Style Spaghetti it looks delicious to you? Just leave the comment below.
