    During the stressful pandemic, yeast and baking powder are hard to buy. It can be said that it is a rare item nowadays. Then this is an effective solution.
    Pepper cake 4 was not born to serve everyone in the fastest and most efficient way. It only takes 15 minutes to have a delicious pepper cake to quench the craving for the epidemic season 😅.

MATERIALS
All-purpose flour 200g (10% protein)
Five-spice powder 1/4mcf (optional optional)
Water 80ml
Fresh milk without sugar 70ml
Sugar 40g
Salt 1/4mcf
Pandan leaf powder 30gr

‍🍳 HOW TO MADE

  1. Fresh milk, water, sugar, salt in a pot on the stove to cook until the mixture dissolves. Lightly boil water.
  2. Wheat flour, five-spice powder and pandan leaf powder in a mixing bowl.
  • If you like the flavor of sleeping powder, put it in to make the cake smell nice, if you don't like it, you can't put it in! Because in my hometown, the cake has the smell of five flavours, I like this smell, so I put it in ah 😋
  • Add the hot milk mixture and mix well.
  • Add the milk mixture slowly to monitor the water absorption of the powder. If the old powder will absorb more water and the new powder will absorb less water. So the amount of liquid will range from 10~20ml.
  • Mix the dough into a mass, no need to knead the dough.
  • Cover the dough so that the dough does not dry out.

  1. Put the dough on the mat with a little oil to prevent it from sticking.1 a little on your hands!
  • Roll the dough into a long ball of dough divided into equal parts. If you want large cakes, divide the dough into large, small cakes divide the dough into small pieces.
  • Dip the flour into the sesame evenly on both sides if you like, if you don't like a lot of sesame, dip only 1 side.
  • Stretch the dough as thin as you like.
  • If you like empty intestines, roll out the dough thinly.
  • If you like to have a thick intestine, the dough stretcher is thicker and smaller.
  1. When frying, use a pot with a deep heart (so that the oil does not splash out from cleaning the kitchen tired),
    *Put a lot of oil into a large flame to heat the oil, then lower the heat to medium and fry the flour.
  • To make sure the cake will swell, the oil must be very hot. Check the hot oil by putting the chopsticks in the oil and see if the chopsticks foam up a lot, then the oil is good enough to fry the dough!
  • When frying, I use 2 pairs of chopsticks to gently rotate the dough when I see the cake swell, I turn the face until golden and then fold.
  • Let the cake not or less deflate. I fold the cake so that the cake is not horizontal, do not overlap, the cake will deflate immediately. 😅
