Hi Everyone,
Good quality sushi at a reasonable price in Sydney is hard to come by. The variety of fish and seafood also is very different from what we can see in Japan therefore, once we find something in Japan that we like, we try to go back again in particular sushi train. Located inside the Arcakit Kinshichō building next to Kinshichō JR station, it is super convenient to grab a quick bite before going home or back to the hotel. We tend to like shopping and get all we need first and then have dinner at 8 pm when the shops close and then head back to the hotel.
During the week, the restaurants in this building aren’t very busy so there isn’t a huge line when we arrive. There is minimal English on the menu or very simple words but with our limited Japanese, we were able to understand some of the posters and order from the Japanese menu on the iPad. We normally order things we can’t get in Australia or are too expensive to order like ikura (tuna eggs), fatty toro, ebi, scallops etc. Kids will have ramen or udon and some hot dishes as we don’t encourage them to eat raw fish. They do love ikura and that is the only thing we allow to satisfy their cravings. Sometimes we give them a bite here and there of our raw fish sushi so they know what it tastes like.
Daily menus show what is available on the day. We don’t understand all the fish names but we just order and eat and try it out. This is the fun of going on holiday, it’s about exploring and trying things out. Prices of sushi start from 110 yen a plate and our average plate price is around 200-300 yen which is much cheaper than what we pay in Australia. At these prices, we won’t be able to get green tea back home. Speaking about tea, it is included in the price so you can have as much as you like.
Service is minimal as sushi train is very simple and straightforward. If you order a whole heap of food, it comes on a train and the kids love it. Sometimes they get served by the staff like hot udon to prevent from the soup getting spilt on the kids. We don’t have dessert there as we love going to the local convenience store to pick our desserts. On average, we eat around $50AUD worth of sushi, sometimes less so that is a very economical meal for the 4 of us. We have been to this restaurant at least 3 times during our stay in Tokyo, great value with quality food!

In this article pics are so special and giving a taste.I wish I would have to eat such delicious dishes.
Japan has its best specialties. I think they have a unique blend between their recipes and the comfort of each store that people keep coming back to.
