Hi Everyone,
This little eatery is on the far end of Taishakuten Sandō. With only a few tables inside, it is a cute restaurant serving skewers, noodles, and rice dishes. The weather was cold outside and when we stepped in, we could feel the nice comfy heater on full level giving us a warm feeling straight away.
The menu had clear photos and was listed in a few languages. The skewer menu, on the other hand, is only in Japanese, so the best way to order is to use Google Translate. We ordered a set of noodles and rice each plus a combo skewer set so we could try a bit of everything.
The kids both wanted cold udon. I'm not sure if it was a good idea due to the weather outside, but they loved it. Hubby ordered a rice bowl, and I ordered a pork intestines rice set. The skewers came shortly and consisted of different meats: chicken liver and chicken skin. It was nice, but the skewers were not very big. The sets were very substantial, but we ate it all up because we were so hungry.
The seating here was a little crammed as the restaurant is not very big but there is seating outside. I think this would be perfect if it is for summer weather. The service here was friendly so no problems for visitors outside of Japan.
