Hi Everyone,

In the past, food on the snow fields and surroundings are generally expensive. This time when we were at Kannabe, we have found that the food is very reasonable around the area and the best part is it taste good. We found Kadoya 食堂 from Google review and were not disappointed. We went twice and both times were pretty good and could see why people keep going back.

The menu was very simple with no English but Google translation did the trick. We ordered an oden, ramen, curry rice & chicken egg don rice bowl. As you can see from the menu and the additional dishes on the wall, the prices of these dishes were very reasonable.

The oden was amazing. It was very tasty, very home cooked, unlike the ones you get in the big cities. In particular I love the tofu. The ramen was average, I’ve had better. The curry rice was a little spicy but BB E finished it all. Lastly the chicken egg rice was pretty amazing. Lots of rice and the egg was runny which I love.

As the restaurant is run by a family, there isn’t much service as most people were working in the kitchen. The restaurant got pretty busy by 7pm and could see we were the only visitors there, many were local people on holiday or lived there. The prices of this restaurants was amazingly cheap considering it's in the snow town and less crowded than the bigger snow fields which we heard was pretty crazy.
