Hello friends,
I am back after a short break and today I am back with a series of food. From today, I will be posting all the healthy dishes as I have decided to quit eating junk and unhealthy food and only focus on a healthy diet. Starting today I am making the lightest breakfast option that can be prepared under 10 minutes at max.
Vegetable Poha
Vegetable poha is authentic Indian cuisine that is originated from Maharashtra( a state in India). Poha is basically flattened rice. Flattened rice flakes are also known as parched rice or beaten rice. They're considered to be nutritious and a whole grain, as these are not processed.
Normally poha is made of veggies and adding peanuts to the dish, also boiled potato is one of the main ingredient of the dish, but being on a weight loss spree I have cut the fats and have made this by only using vegetables.
The dish tastes amazing and is very easy to make do try it once at your home and please write in comments how does it tastes?
Ingredients :
- Poha.
- Finely chopped Onions, Bell peppers, Beans.
- Peas.
- One Lemon.
- Salt, Red chilli powder to taste.
- Turmeric powder 1 tbsp.
Firstly, put a vessel to heat, add oil and add onions to fry.
Once the onions are sauteed, add other veggies to the same process.
Now, add regular spices to taste and give a good stir.
Normally, there is no need to add water, I have done so that the peas can be cooked properly.
Once the veggies have soaked some amount of water, it is ready for the next step.
Now, take the poha and soak it into water.
Now take the water out and dry it best possible.
Now add the poha to the mix and stir it properly.
