Hello my friends Foodies Bee Hive Lovers, today I will share a recipe for how to make fruit soup that is practical and easy but still delicious to enjoy with loved ones.
a few days ago me and some of my friends went to a cafe to try some dishes at the cafe (I didn't mention the name). I ordered a bowl of fruit soup for 15,000 rupiah (USD 14.1) and I feel the price is not worth the taste. Here is the bowl of fruit soup that I ordered from the cafe:
The fruits they use are dragon fruit, papaya, pear and sweet corn. for sweetener they use coconut milk and kurnia syrup (this syrup is very famous in Indonesia).
Based on data sourced from:
in one glass (common size used in cafes) contains as much nutrition as :
https://mobile.fatsecret.co.id/kalori-gizi/umum/es-buah
247 calories
62.2 grams carbohydrates
0,77 grams protein
62.92 grams sugar
42 milligrams sodium
6 milligrams potassium
0 grams fat
0 grams cholesterol
In addition to these nutritional content, a bowl of fruit soup is also rich in vitamins and fiber which are useful for our body's metabolism.
I'll start providing the ingredients needed to make a delicious fruit soup. I use 4 types of fruit namely dragon fruit, papaya fruit, grapes and pears. besides that we can use other fruits such as watermelon, jackfruit, melon and other fruits that taste sweet and slightly sour so that the resulting fruit soup tastes fresh.
After that we prepare the soup, we don't use sugar because we use Kurnia brand syrup which tastes sweet like a sugar solution, I don't use coconut milk but I replace it with full cream sweetened condensed milk.
If there is no Kurnia brand, we can replace it with another syrup with a strawberry or raspberry flavor.
I also provide 1 liter of water and a bowl of ice cubes.
how to make delicious fruit soup:
The first step : peel the skin of the pear, then cut it into small pieces but not too small so that the fruit does not crumble when combined with other fruit.
The second step: peel the papaya skin and then cut it into small pieces according to taste.
The third step: cut the grapes into 2 parts, I don't peel the skin and also don't remove the seeds (I chew the seeds because I believe grape seeds can help maintain my heart health).
The fourth step: peel the skin of the dragon fruit and then cut the fruit into small sizes.
here are all the fruits that we have cut into small pieces.
After all the fruit I cut and then I arrange it in a serving bowl. First I put the ice cubes into the bowl.
then I add a tablespoon of pears.
then I put in the papaya pieces.
after that I added 2 tablespoons of dragon fruit.
last I put in the grape slice.
We have arranged all the fruit fillings in a bowl/glass, then we add 2 tablespoons of Kurnia syrup (adjust to our taste for sweetness level).
so that the syrup is mixed evenly then we add 200 mL of water.
To add to the taste of the savory and sweet fruit soup, I added 2 tablespoons of full cream sweetened condensed milk.
my son really likes this fruit soup, the sweet and fresh taste is perfect for serving in hot weather.
Good luck with the fruit soup recipe, thank you for reading my blog and thank you for supporting me so far.
Best Regard
