Started the day with this place called 'โกเผือกโกดำ' and somehow in English translated to 'Black Gooseberry Chiangmai' - Nothing close but let's go with it. I had visited here before but honestly didn't find anything special here. It's quite famous so a friend who came to visit wanted to go so there we go again..

Sure thing that famous multi color egg custard dipping for either toast or steamed bread. A plate of charcoal toast with condense milk and sugar (Yes, diabetes next level :D), pan fried egg served in a sizzling pan, vietnamese noodle soup. A few cups of Thai teas, green tea and old-school Thai coffee. These should cover almost everything they offer.

The food is honestly not bad but not sure if it's worth the wait. Normally there's a long line in front and last time I was here, I waited 20++ mins. Cray.

Then we continue with the hike! Hike to Doi suthep which passes Phalad Temple. Quite a beautiful and easy 2-hour hike. One of the famous trails around as it's close to town and not so difficult to do. Can also visit waterfall on the way.

Lovely combo to start the day in Chiang Mai especially if you're travelling through :)
