Dude, that's awesome! I also like using plain old salt as an abrasive, particularly on wood cutting boards that shouldn't be soaked.

My go-to instead of non-stick is cast iron! Not only does a well cured cast iron anything cook well and is no-stick, it can be thrown at someone and really fuck them up! 😂

We have a cast iron skillet that I’ve been using a lot more! It takes a little while to get used to it but I’m loving it. The one we have has grill grates on it so I can’t cook eggs or anything but it grills a mean steak that’s for sure! Lol I’ve also made some delicious French toast on it that comes out so delicious!

I threw away the non stick poison years ago thankfully. That stuff is so bad! The chemicals all in it.. ugh.

Cast iron is my favourite. I even have a cast iron dutch oven. It's about the best thing in the world.
