Yesterday night was amazing and memorable for me and my family, my mother turn into her 60's by the grace of God. It was really kewl night to remember. Although I had to hide my presence being in the kitchen so it was quite difficult to give mom a surprise because Asian mothers are very kitchen-oriented.if you are an Asian like me you can understand it is very difficult to take them away from the kitchen.
So here because of covid, we didn't want to order a cake from outside. so I decided to bake a cake by myself in the oven . first, I was a bit worried about how it will turn out. especially for me, it was a special day so I dint wanted anything to go wrong then I started to look at videos on youtube and other sites in order to get proper guidance.

I add 3 to 4 eggs in a bowl and sugar and start whisking it with a whisk then I add red food color to give the look of rosy red color .
then I gradually put flour and baking soda, the baking powder I add vanilla essence and rose flavor essence.
The smell was really enchanting and something to feel. So the fragrance was alluring.
After whisking I add one cup of refined cooking oil and a little bit of butter with half a cup of warm milk in the mixture.
when the consistency becomes smooth and mushy I put all the mixture in the cake container. before that, I preheated the oven for 15 minutes only.
SO I put my container in the oven and baked it for 25 minutes approximately and my cake was baked and I was surprised because it was fully baked and soft as hell .
the texture was perfect. For frosting, I put fresh coconut powder to enhance the natural fragrance because I already add rose essence in order to keep the cake flavor close to nature.

I am so happy that I was able to celebrate my mothers' birthday. I am happy with myself that I successfully baked the cake.
I suggest you guys bake once in a while because it was the best experience that I got. my mother was very happy to see this surprise. Always make your mother's happy.
