I have always been one of those people who prefer to stay at home and prepare my own dinner, but from time to time I go out with my family to visit a gastronomic center and taste a new dish, since there are few times when I go out I repeat the menu.
On this occasion I enjoyed my evening at the Twins House, a coffee bar, a place that owes its name to the owners who are brothers jimaguas. We have already visited this place several times due to the proximity to where I live.
Siempre he sido de esas personas que prefiere quedarse en casa y preparar mi propia cena, pero de vez en cuando me animo a salir en compañía de la familia para visitar algún centro gastronómico y degustar algún platillo nuevo, ya que son pocas las veces que cuando salgo repito el menú.
En esta ocasión disfruté mi noche en el Twins House, un bar cafetería, lugar que debe su nombre a los propietarios que son hermanos jimaguas. Este lugar ya lo hemos visitado varias veces debido a la cercanía donde vivo.

The atmosphere is pleasant and has a musical themed style, as its walls are adorned with old vinyl records that contrast very well with the lighting and design of the place. It has several tables and a more secluded and discreet VIP area. We sat at a table that had a sort of wooden shelf to place our wallets on for our comfort.
El ambiente es agradable y tiene un estilo temático musical, pues sus paredes están adornadas con discos antiguos de vinilo que contrastan muy bien con la iluminación y el diseño del lugar. Cuenta con varias mesas y un lugar VIP más apartado y discreto. Nos sentamos en una mesa que tenía una especie de repisa de madera para colocar las carteras para nuestra comodidad.

As soon as we arrived, the waitress was very helpful and handed us the menu, which I only glanced at briefly, as most of it was the same as the one I had seen before. We ordered a few beers and tostones stuffed with ham and cheese as a starter while we decided what we were going to eat.
Desde que llegamos, la camarera muy servicial nos entregó la carta menú, a la cual solo le eché un breve vistazo, pues en su mayoría coincidía con la que ya había visto anteriormente. Pedimos unas cervezas y tostones rellenos de jamón y queso como entrante mientras decidimos que íbamos a comer.

As we had already been told about the new hamburger and taco offerings, we all agreed to order the same thing but in different quantities. My husband, as usual, ordered a double, something the other diners don't usually do, and the look of astonishment was reflected on the waitress' face. We chose the Twins House burger which cost about 750 pesos, which is about 2.20 USD at the current exchange rate in my country.
Como ya nos habían hablado de las nuevas ofertas de hamburguesas y tacos, todos nos pusimos de acuerdo en pedir lo mismo pero en diferentes cantidades. Mi esposo, como de costumbre, ordenó doble, cosa que no suelen hacer los demás comensales, y la cara de asombro se vio reflejada en la camarera. Elegimos la hamburguesa Twins House que costaba unos 750 pesos, que son aproximadamente unos 2.20 USD al cambio actual de mi país.
These burgers were a good size and looked very appetizing with sesame seed bun, cheese, salad (cucumber, cabbage and lettuce), ham, bacon, hot dog, beef patty and sauce. I loved this mix of flavors and would definitely repeat another time.
Estas hamburguesas de un buen tamaño y un aspecto muy apetecible llevaban pan de molde con ajonjolí, queso, ensalada (pepino, col y lechuga), jamón, tocino, perro caliente, hamburguesa de res y salsa. Esta mezcla de sabores me encantó y sin duda volvería a repetir en otra ocasión.

After the burgers came the tacos, we ordered beef. These looked and tasted great, the meat was well cooked and soft. Inside it contained cucumber, cabbage and chili bell pepper in very thin strips, onion rings and something I liked: a few pieces of fried ripe plantain that added a sweet and delicious flavor. I give it a 10/10 score. The sauce to accompany it also had a good flavor and to digest it better, we had some cold malts.
Luego de las hamburguesas llegaron los tacos, pedimos de carne de res. Estos se veían y sabían genial, la carne estaba bien cocida y suave. Dentro contenía pepino, col y ají pimiento en tiras bien finas, cebolla en aros y algo que me gustó: unos trocitos de plátano maduro frito que le aportaban un sabor dulce y delicioso. Le doy un 10/10 de puntuación. La salsa para acompañarlo también tenía un buen sabor y para digerirlo mejor, nos tomamos unas maltas bien frías.

To conclude the evening, we stopped by the bar and had a few drinks prepared by the bartender who served us with great kindness.
