Today I want to share the recipe for a delicious flan of pumpkin, a vegetable that can be prepared in different ways and also provides nutrients required by our body. In our country Venezuela, we enjoy making traditional recipes that are made throughout the year, in our region the pumpkin is easy to get and with a pot you can prepare many recipes that I will be sharing with you, so that you can make them at home. In my family's house, we taste different recipes in which the main ingredient is the pumpkin, we can mention the pumpkin cake, tortillas, creams among other preparations that are very rich.
Preparación-Preparation
Lavar la auyama para picar en trozos, los cuales colocaremos en una olla con agua y canela en palo. Cocinar hasta que ablanden apagar y dejar reposar.
Wash the pumpkin to chop into pieces, which will be placed in a pot with water and cinnamon stick. Cook until soft, turn off and let stand. Cocida la auyama hacemos un puré el cual procedemos a licuar con un poco de leche.
In a saucepan dissolve the cornstarch with the milk and cook over low heat, stopping little by little adding the rest of the ingredients.
This time I will show you the ingredients and steps to make the flan of pumpkin, the ingredients are 1/2 kilo of pumpkin, cornstarch 3 tablespoons, butter one tablespoon, cinnamon stick, half a liter of milk, a can of condensed milk if desired, sugar to taste.
Once the pumpkin is cooked we make a puree which we proceed to blend with a little milk.
When it starts to boil, add the pumpkin puree, stirring continuously to prevent it from boiling in the pot.
Let it cool and then place it in the refrigerator to enjoy this delicious fan. Come and prepare this delicious recipe!
