I like black and white photography. Lately I've taking photographs and then removing the color and working with the contrast.
I love this photo as is.
The next photo I put the original as a layer underneath the B&W and restored the color to the doors. I find it visually appealing. Not as much as the B&W but appealing nonetheless.
The bottom two didn't work - I least I don't think so. Maybe if the girl's dress was a vibrant yellow, or some color combination of the red and aqua blue doors it would have worked better. But, as it is, it's not appealing.
I like the second one the best. Just the doors colored, kinda gives it a cool vibe.
Yeah. I've been playing with that with a lot of my photographs. The fact that "it's different" makes it stand out. But when I print it out and put it on a wall - I tend to like the B&W better.
