I took a shot of a friend playing the keyboard and found it boring. So I removed the color and turned up the contrast and played with it a bit. Here's the final image. Below this image are the earlier progressions.
Here's where things started. I removed the color; increased the contrast and blurred the image a bit.
This image I brought a bit of the original color in:
A bit more color was brought in:
And here I brought in a bit of neon edging. I deleted a lot of it and was left with this. The final piece reduced the neon edging a bit more. I was stuck between the two images and then decided that if more was not better then to use the simpler one.
