Hi all ๐๐ป
Today I want to share with you all a small selection of photographs I took of the rock formations at Wied Il-Mielaฤง and the CLIFFS close by on the island of GOZO ~ MALTA ๐ฒ๐น during our last days living on the islands before we moved back to Spain in 22 August 2020.
All photos are taken with my iPhone ๐ฑ

Letโs start our walk around ๐
Walking through rough terrain we look back and see.
We find a pathway, it has a railing and steps going down into the #gorge. Following it all the way to the end we see this beautiful ROCKFORMATION. It looks like a windowโฆ the location is Wied Il-Mielaฤง.
There is a gate that is closed off at this time. But we see steps going down all the way to the water. These are not in a good condition, so I think that is why the gate is closed at the moment.
But we can still admire these beautiful #rock #formations

Walking back a little I zoom out moreโฆ ๐
Leaning over the gate, I try to photograph the waters edgeโฆ ๐ the water has such a beautiful colour ๐ฅฐ
Letโs walk back over the path, one more lookโฆ click ๐ธ
We go all the way back and decide to walk on the other side of the gorge and walk now on top of the rocks. We see here the rock formations from above.
It sure looks so different seeing the window from up here.
Sorryโฆ hehehe ๐คญ I canโt get closer to the edge as I donโt like heights, and no protection is there. ๐๐ So bear with me.
Walking further awayโฆ along the edge of the #CLIFFS.
Looking the other way as we walk along. We see:
These are high and the drop is far. If you look closely you can even see caves. ๐
Beautiful formations on this side of the island of Gozo.
I will show you in due course more of the islands of Malta ๐ฒ๐น ๐

Stunning! That is really beautiful, and from a far distance away behind my screen, I can confidently say I want to run and jump from that cliff like it is a big pool! But I am also not a fan of heights, so I am with you on staying far away from the edge. I do not like to even go near them as when I look down it feels like nothing is holding me back. Awesome destination and it looked like a splendid day!
It almost looks like you can run and jump. But itโs rather highโฆ so I wouldnโt in this spot.
There are a few other spots on the islands perfect for that.
I still wouldnโt do it hehehe at least not anymore ๐๐
Such heights are just scary especially when there is nothing to hold on to.

My husband is a fisherman. Yes, I would fish with him in these waters, with pleasure!

The photos look great. I'd like to stand there and watch the sea. I love views like that. I imagine I'm there watching the sunset. It would be perfect.
