Schon jetzt solltet ihr mit der Planung beginnen, damit ihr rechtzeitig startklar seid. Besorgt euch passende Blumensamen, zum Beispiel eine bunte Mischung aus Wildblumen wie Kornblumen, Klatschmohn, Margeriten oder Phacelia, die nicht nur schön anzusehen sind, sondern auch unseren fleißigen Bestäubern zugute kommen. Der Handel bietet speziell für Blühstreifen zusammengestellte Saatgutmischungen an - schauen Sie einfach im Gartencenter oder online nach.

If you haven't already done so, I would like to remind you that spring is the perfect time to spice up your garden or open spaces in the neighbourhood - with a flower strip! You should start planning now so that you are ready to go in good time. Get suitable flower seeds, for example a colourful mixture of wildflowers such as cornflowers, poppies, daffodils or phacelia, which are not only beautiful to look at but also benefit our hard-working pollinators. Retailers offer seed mixtures specially formulated for flower strips - just look them up in your garden centre or online.

Warum ist das so wichtig? Blühstreifen bieten Bienen, Schmetterlingen, Hummeln und anderen Insekten eine wertvolle **Nahrungsquelle**, besonders in Zeiten, in denen natürliche Lebensräume immer seltener werden. Diese **Bestäuber** sind unverzichtbar: Sie sorgen dafür, dass Obstbäume, Gemüsepflanzen und viele Wildpflanzen Früchte tragen und sich vermehren können. Ein Blühstreifen fördert also nicht nur die Artenvielfalt, sondern auch den eigenen Ertrag im Garten. Und ganz nebenbei verwandelt er tristes Grün in eine bunte Oase, an der ihr euch und eure Nachbarn erfreuen könnt. Also: Früh dran denken, Samen kaufen und loslegen - die Natur wird es euch danken! Nicht, dass wir demnächst alle so dasitzen:

This is beautiful. Having a flower strip in the garden or around and the home is a good idea. And the flowers you mentioned will give the environment a beautiful and enchanting look, and also provide supplies for these pollinators.

Sadly, I don't have the space for a flower strip where I live.

Sometimes it is enough to secretly throw some flower seeds in a public place, e.g. a driveway between a car park and a footpath, and in no time beautiful flowers will grow there😇
