Limburger Dom

Wir haben heute den Limburger Dom besichtigt. Sehr beeindruckend! Hat mehr Türme - sieben Stück - als jede andere Kirche in Deutschland und ist fast 1000 Jahre alt. Der Bischofssitz nebenan ist auch sehr hübsch und flammneu renoviert.

We visited Limburg Cathedral today. Very impressive! It has more towers - seven of them - than any other church in Germany and is almost 1000 years old. The bishop's residence next door is also very pretty and newly renovated.

I must say it's a magnificent cathedral, looking so sophisticated for a 1000-year building. I guess it was well built and it has been well-maintained through the centuries that's why it's still this good. I'm sure a lot of interesting histories are connected to this cool building. Er wird gerade außen renoviert, daher hab ich davon keine schönen Bilder machen können.
