I am not Austrian, nor do I know this state TV or what it broadcasts. However, I would like to give my opinion, because I think it is valid anywhere, obviously in my opinion. I think any TV station or media outlet that needs to force someone to pay for their service shouldn't exist. Forcing someone to pay for a service they don't want is a threat to individual freedom.

I am with you on that. But people here are used to this crap since they grew up with it and don't know any better. They don't know the definition of a free society. I commented separately and in more detail what I think of all this.
