It is the event organizers that overreacted. The security had been tightened, the police were very well prepared. Right now there are Afrika Days happening on the Danube Island - also under heavy security, in fact, that area is harder to control than the Happel Stadium where the Swift Event was to take place. Events like these are always at risk these days, wether intelligence discovers a plot or not. Because in the absence of a threat it could just mean that it is more secretly organized that intelligence has not found out. So be prepared in any event.
