Spellbound|| I Never Knew My Monsters Were A Parent…

Diving deep into the world of anime and animation, I finally became a diehard fan of these types of movies. I can't remember much of myself watching anime until I watched “Attack on Titans.” It changed my perspective about anime as cartoons. They are not in any way close to cartoons.

When we talk about cartoons then we see the likes of Tom and Jerry, Teletubbies, Johnny Bravo, Pinky and the Brain, and many more. Even when you watch some of these cartoons with deep sense you will realize there is a message it passed across.

I became a fan of anime recently after watching Attacks on Titans. I also watched Demon Slayer, which gave another true picture of what animes are all about. They have interesting plots but just a storyline with moving pictures.

That's not where I am heading to but I just have to be clear on the aspect of anime and animations. I have been watching animations for a long time now. I guess I thought it was also cartoons in the first place, but I realize that it’s nothing but a nicely animated storyline.

My first animation was Frozen and I'd say the story got me so hooked, that after watching episodes 1 and 2 I had to find more animations. I have watched the legendary animation “The Lion King”, but at times it might be classified as a cartoon. Recently they had another release titled Mufasa.

After having a nice time watching Frozen I watched many more animations like Ratatouille, Moana, The Good Dinosaurs, Kung Fu Panda, Pinocchio, and Coco.

Coco got my all-time best animation ever. I can’t believe I watched it over and over repeatedly. And this is something I hardly do on a normal basis no matter how interesting the movie might appear to be. I even got the song living rent-free in my head for years after watching it. Coco is just an amazing watch.

Spellbound

It's all about the story of a princess who has monstrous parents. This happened when a dark spirit came upon the palace and the king and Queen became a victim.

The princess despite the pressure from the outside world never ignored her parents no matter the nature they appeared to be. She believed in them and never gave up on her mission to make them become humans again.

It took her years, but she trusted she would bring the King back to the people and also have her father again. This made her request for help from some creatures of the dark forest and her mission was to take her parents who were the monsters to the beacon of light.

On their journey, she encountered some harm which brought back the voices of her parents and made them recognize her again. She felt progress in the unification of both monsters. Finally, they got to the beacon of light, but the monsters couldn’t get anywhere near it. They realized their mistakes of not loving each other but arguing all through which was how the evil got to penetrate through them.

One thing that brought back the old time they shared was the love they had for the princess. They really worked in unity and shared true love to gain the princess who almost got entangled by the dark spirit. And with that, they became their normal self again.

In conclusion, animations are worth watching especially when it's comedy related. Spellbound also had some pick of comedy in it which would keep you actively watching and not get bored.

The plot twist isn't bad either and I can give it a 8/10 rating. I will be watching Inside Out next. Which is just another animated movie. I recommend you enjoy Spellbound and thank you for your time.

I don't watch fairytale animation, but Tangled, and this one amazed me. The storyline and the animation both look great.
