I always imagine why my friends do not like this TV series I share with them. They always complain, it is long and keeps them so much in suspense. I think a great series is the one that will keep you in so much suspense.
A blockbuster series I once watched which paved way for me to watch more series is titled *Knightfall starring Tom Cullen and Jim Carter.
Knightfall is a series that portrays so much bloodshed and war. It’s a series which is divided intolerably two series. The first series consists of ten episodes while the second consists of eight episodes.
In my little knowledge and what I know about movies and series, a good, regular and moderate series is supposed to have about fifteen episodes but Knightfall has eighteen which makes it better and well detailed.
There was a good job done by the series director and also the actors. Knightfall is known as a historical fiction series but watching it will put you in their world, make you feel like one of them and gets you to follow every part of the series. It’s addictive and that’s what makes it a good series.
What does the series, Knightfall entails?
During the forty-three day seige in the holy land, Brother Landry finds himself in a fight with Sultan of the Mamluks. Landry eventually became the master of the temple where he was humiliated. While trying to know the course of his master, Godfrey’s death, he got into a fight with Saracens of the Brotherhood of Light where he got back to the temple in chains.
This fight led to some more fights between Landry, some people of the temple and the Saracens of the Brotherhood of Light themselves. Due to more fights, more revelations started coming up, going to master Godfrey’s hometown and his real name as Marcel. Along the line, Brother Landry was blamed for some happenings and he was captured by the Saracens of the Brotherhood of Light with his Temple brothers when they all got into a fight.
Finally, they were able to escape and in the last scene, Landry kills Philip.
Why is this series unloved by so many people
It’s complex. This movie is for highly intellectual people who can follow up with so many histories and revelations coming up in the series. It’s just like a revelation series. The more you watch, the more you get more revelations in the movie especially the life of Master Godfrey and Brother Landry.
When I ask people if they are enjoying the series I recommended to them, all I hear them say is that it is complicated.
This series is highly for those who can grasp every little information in a TV show.
Secondly, the series has a crazy bloodshed. So many people get affected when they watch movies with so much bloodshed. I think that’s enough reason not to like it but an important thing is that it is a make believe series which makes you feel everything is real even though we know it is not real.
Any spectacular scene in this series?
Brother Landry is the protagonist of the play. In this scene, I thought he was going to die. He engaged in a fight with his enemies. Brother Landry was badly beaten but still managed to win the fight.
I never liked to see him bleed in the series. Tom Cullen who played Landry was given an exceptional role and he killed it.
In a nutshell, the series Knightfall is an old but golden series. It’s a perfect series especially for people who love to see historical fiction series. If I am allowed, I will rate it a 9/10 because it is worth it.
Yes, you may not like it because we all do not like the same series but this is a great piece of art.
