The plot revolves around a rescue mission in the Philippines by the Delta Force military team, led by air support controller Sergeant Kinney (Liam Hemsworth), who is in turn guided remotely from Las Vegas by Air Force drone pilot Captain Reaper (Russell Crowe).

All very guided and controlled, nothing can go wrong... but! ‘unexpectedly’ something that was going to be almost routine, turns into a terribly violent, chaotic and highly entertaining mission.

Eubank's direction is notable for its ability to create an immersive and suffocating atmosphere.

The film contains spectacular, adrenaline-fuelled action scenes, which make you tense and have your heart pounding.

In this foray into warfare, we see the exploits of an elite ‘delta force’ commando having a tough time in a tropical jungle in the Philippines; carrying out a high-risk rescue mission in a totally dangerous and hostile area.

The spark of humour is provided by a brilliant Russell Crowe who, as a drone pilot, is better than he has been in years. A curiosity to note is that technologies and screens sometimes divert our attention from the really important things and from where we should put it. The latter is the most important thing in the whole film.

It is worth highlighting the highly original and dynamic part of the plot, in which we are presented with a very well-structured plot with two different visions of the action: on the one hand, that of Kinney (Liam Hemsworth) and his evolution throughout the film, who at the beginning behaves like someone less of a combat soldier and more of a specialised technician, acting with insecurity and fear, which is logical for someone of this profile involved in this mission ‘without eating or drinking’, who little by little integrates and finds his place within this violent madness in the middle of the Philippine jungle.

A totally wild and disturbing environment, which in some moments reminds us of the most claustrophobic and dark scenes of ‘Cornered (1982)’ or ‘Predator (1987)’

Hmm,I think I like it. Although,I wouldn't really call myself a fan of these type of movies. I see something like this like 4 times in a year!😅 And if it's not four, it's one or none
