haha it is a very goofy movie with a very goofy premise but there are a few genuine scares and creepy parts too.
It doesn't feel like an older movie but I guess it is 19 years old at this point. It came out in 2002 and now I feel sufficiently old realizing that 2002 was nearly 20 years ago lol.
