I have been a movie lover from a very early age and almost all its genres are attractive to me, but I always remember accompanying my father or mother to see their Westerns or as we say around here, the cowboy movies; I still remember my childhood afternoons watching the Lone Ranger, along with my other favorite programs of the time.
I was always struck by the representation of those tough people, with only the law of the revolver in their stories. That's how I watched an infinite number of westerns. But this time, we are going to come to a few years ago, specifically to the year 2016 where the movie The Magnificent 7 was released, played by a colossal cast, of great actors of great trajectory in the cinema, therefore, very recognized worldwide.
Such as Denzel Washington, Chris Pratt, Ethan Hawke, Vincent D'Onofrio, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Luke Grimes, Haley Bennett, Matt Bomer, Peter Sarsgaard and Lee Byung-hun; who together play a plot worthy of the old Western movies despite being of these times, it does not detract emotion, tension, drama, to what we will see on screen. The story of the film is about a town (Rose Creek) that is subjected, in complete defenselessness, to the attacks and harassment of some outlaws who want to rob and subdue them.

The performances of each of these actors, were memorable, personally the one I liked the most was Denzel Washington's, this actor has a natural ease to transmit, security, tenderness and even the hardness required for this type of film, for me all the films where he is part of the cast, has a seal of guarantee, of excellence in my opinion; that is why this film despite not being usual, to which he usually participates, marked a difference, in the current cinema and in this specific genre.
One of the scenes that I liked the most was when they arrived at the village and began to try to train everyone there, with weapons, with the manufacture of bombs and even trenches and that when the confrontation reached its climax, these men kept their honor, word to the last and that despite being tough and rough, they showed their sensitivity, protecting some of them in their last moments, of their own free will to the innocent. They became the heroes of the surroundings and of the town.

He sido una amante del cine, desde muy temprana edad y casi todos sus géneros me son atractivos, pero siempre recuerdo acompañar a mi padre o madre a ver sus películas del Oeste o como le decimos por aquí, las películas Vaqueras; todavía recuerdo mis tardes de la infancia viendo el Llanero Solitario, junto a mis demás programas preferidos de la época.
Siempre me llamaba la atención, la representación de esas personas tan rudas, con tan solo la ley del revolver en sus historias. Así fui viendo infinidades de películas del Oeste. Pero esta vez, nos vamos a venir a unos cuantos años atrás, específicamente al año 2016 donde se estrenó la película de Los 7 Magníficos, interpretada por un elenco colosal, de grandes actores de gran trayectoria en el cine, por lo tanto, muy reconocidos a nivel mundial.
Como lo son Denzel Washington, Chris Pratt, Ethan Hawke, Vincent D'Onofrio, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Luke Grimes, Haley Bennett, Matt Bomer, Peter Sarsgaard y Lee Byung-hun; quienes juntos interpretan una trama digna del cine del Oeste antiguo a pesar de ser de estos tiempos, no le resta emoción, tensión, drama, a lo que veremos en pantalla. La historia de la película, trata de un pueblo (Rose Creek ) que está sometido, en completa indefensión, ante los ataques y vejámenes de unos forajidos que les quieren robar y someter.
Ante estas circunstancias, una chica del pueblo, Emma Cullen (Haley Bennett); que le matan vilmente a su esposo, estos forajidos, busca la ayuda fuera del pueblo, de unos cazarecompensas para que les ayuden a ella y a los del pueblo a enfrentar a estos malvados y a obtener incluso venganza, por todas las muertes acaecidas a causa de estas personas. Es allí donde empieza por hablar con Sam Chisolm (Denzel Washington), quien no estaba muy convencido de intervenir, pero luego se da cuenta, que el protagonista de tanta barbarie fue alguien de su pasado, quien tiene una cuenta pendiente con él.
Es así que se van sumando los otros 6 participantes, cada uno con características diferentes para la pelea, diferentes disposiciones para las armas y especialidades en el manejo de ellas, diferentes todos entre sí, entre sus personalidades, etnias y razas, creando un grupo bastante versátil para la batalla, que iban a tener que enfrentar a este grupo de malhechores que también eran bastante temibles y aparte despiadados.
Las actuaciones de cada uno de estos actores, fueron memorables, personalmente la que me gustó más fue la de Denzel Washington, este actor tiene una facilidad nata para transmitir, seguridad, ternura e incluso la dureza requerida para este tipo de películas, para mí todas las películas en donde él forme parte del elenco, tiene un sello de garantía, de excelencia a mi entender; por eso esta película a pesar de no ser usual, a las que él generalmente participa, marco una diferencia, en el cine actual y en este género en específico.
Una de las escenas que más me gustó fue cuando llegaron al pueblo y empezaron a tratar de adiestrar a todos allí, con las armas, con la fabricación de bombas e incluso de trincheras y que cuando el enfrentamiento llegó a su punto más álgido, estos hombres guardaron su honor, palabra hasta lo último y que a pesar de mostrarse recios y rudos, demostraban su sensibilidad, al proteger algunos de ellos en sus últimos momentos, por voluntad propia a los inocentes. Convirtiéndose en los héroes de las inmediaciones y del pueblo.

I was always curious if this remake was any good, it's hard to top the original 1960 version along with Seven Samurai from 1954. I've been meaning to sit down and watch this one.
They have a stellar cast this version I must admit.
