I can only imagine the help this would be in those sewer scenes. This was a fun ride and I certainly liked the first one better than the second. They nailed the creepy clown very nicely and those kids were believable. Looking like real kids instead of fashion models haha
There's a special place for the miniseries in my heart but they really needed to make some cuts to the tv movie. That first half I tell ya, phew.
The blu-ray and 4K are pretty identical but the HDR definitely helps in the sewer scenes. I'm a sucker for deep black levels and it delivers.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who didn't enjoy the second one as much. I haven't even had the motivation to write about it because it was very mediocre. Maybe my love for Bill Hader gave me too high of expectations but the first remake was actually a lot of fun. The second one just felt like cheap thrills.

No kidding. The cast was great and wardrobe/makeup killed it by not glamming them up. It's kinda of important for this film too since the losers club is all brought together by their miserable home lives.
