Cine TV Contest #107 - Favorite Movie About the Ocean

in CineTV7 months ago

Hello CineTV

Who doesn't love to sing, even if you aren't good at it? Singing has always been a huge thing in my life but I have to admit that I haven't been doing it as much over the last few years. I may need to get back into it soon.

While I do not necessarily like musicals, there are a lot of movies that are made by the music and the singing of the characters. Obviously alot of you agree and selected a movie for the contest! Thanks so much to everyone that entered!!

Let's get to the winners!

First Place

The first place finisher was @bethyjade with multiple choices, found here: https://peakd.com/hive-121744/@bethyjade/cinetv-contest-movies-with-songs-i-like-espeng

The second place finisher was @naath with a choice of Sing Street, found here: https://peakd.com/hive-121744/@naath/sing-street-or-a-love-letter-to-youth-and-music-esp-eng

A movie that I have never seen and it sounds like a really good choice. Thanks so much for your entry.

Favorite Movie About the Ocean

I don't live very close to the ocean but last weekend I did spend time by one of the Great Lakes. It is definitely large, a lot less salty and a whole lot colder! It was great to be on the shore and hear the waves lap onto the beach, definitely a relaxing feeling.

I have been to both the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans during my travels throughout my life. The enormity of the ocean is something that is so hard to comprehend. A vast expanse of water that goes so deep and feels full of mystery.

This I believe is why we are drawn to movies about the ocean. Very few have crossed it by boat and even fewer have really gone below the surface past the shoreline. So much mystery and intrigue in the ocean!

For this contest, I want you to pick a movie that involves the ocean in some way. Tell us about your interactions with the ocean and how this movie relates to that experience? What does this film tell you about the ocean? Give us a unique and entertaining review and you will have your chance at winining!

Those are some suggestions for your entry. Thanks for stopping by and I can't wait to read your selections!!!

If you have any questions or concerns feel free to tag me in the Discord channel (caulderfreeman). Enjoy this week's contest and good luck!
