Bring Him to Me

What do you do when you are faced with a situation that you have to do but you are questioning in your conscience? It's hard to say exactly how I will proceed until I encounter it, but I certainly won't do it like the final scene of Bring Him to Me.

This may have triggered your curiosity, so let's move on to the story and reflections of the movie.

The character of Driver, who is mild-mannered from the very beginning until the very end and who conscientiously considers everything he does, was a disappointment for me with the final scene.

When I look at the story of the movie and the lifestyle of the main character, I can easily say that the right person is in the right story. The mild-mannered character, who listens to the voice of his conscience, was the kind of person I would want to meet anywhere at any time, as well as the kind of person who could easily instill a sense of trust.

Barry Pepper, who plays Driver, successfully portrays a quiet character with inner conflicts. In addition to being cold-blooded in his role, he stands out with his conscientious judgment and while watching him; it is not very difficult to predict what he will do and what he will not do. He gives the impression of a strong character, easy to trust and able to use his logic correctly.

The plot of the movie is based on a clichéd plot that is common in many thriller and crime genres, but it differs from the others in the way the story is handled. A week after a successful robbery, the characters come together, realize that some of the money they seized in the robbery is missing, and accuse one of their friends who took part in the robbery.

The character of Driver emerges at just such a time, his job is to take the so-called “passenger” to the other gang members, whom they hold responsible for the missing money.

Throughout the journey, Driver experiences a mental conflict between his loyalty to the person who gave him the job and his moral values. His inner conflict causes him to examine his conscience at every moment of the story. It is possible to conclude from this appearance that he is a good character, but I must add that he turns the tables with the final scene.

I can't say that I liked seeing a character I liked from the beginning with a contradiction in the final scene, but I can say that I liked the movie quite a lot. I can't say that the character's contradictory situation at the last moment spoils the story and the strong stance he puts forward, but I can still say that my expectation was for him to listen to the voice of his conscience.

It was sad to see that the voice of his conscience did not prevail after an incident in which he went through almost the entire journey.

The movie builds up the tension along the way and weaves it into the story. I can say that this is a positive reflection while watching the movie because as the road gets shorter; the uncertainty of what will be encountered triggers a sense of curiosity about how the movie will turn out.

In fact, besides the sad ending, it is also possible to say that the movie has an unfinished story. This probably gives most of us the green light that there will be a sequel.

Reflecting the ruthlessness of the criminal world in a simple way, the movie was visually successful with its dark and gloomy atmosphere. The main character's dilemma and his final decision were the most enjoyable moments to watch.

For those who love crime and thriller genres, Bring Him to Me is an impressive production. It has a flow that everyone can analyze the characters and I can say that it is satisfying in terms of immersion. The movie has an enjoyable story to watch and the character of Driver had a visual power that managed to attract attention.

I highly recommend watching the movie and thank you for being here and reading. I hope all is well in your life and that you have the best happiness. Take care and goodbye!

This sounds like an interesting one that I'll enjoy, as I try to learn about what he later went for being loyalty and moral.
