The years 2001, 2002 and 2003 were the years when the "Lord of the Rings" film series was released in sequence. I remember the excitement during the viewing as if it was yesterday.
The first film of the series, "The Fellowship of the Ring", featured Hobbits, Dwarves, Elves, Elves, Humans and some fictional Middle Earth races coming together for the beginning of the story and the destruction of the ring. The beginning of the Fellowship of the Ring, which gave its name to the series, and the strengthening of the bonds during the journey afterwards were reflected quite well and I was impatiently waiting for the sequel.
Fortunately, the release processes of the sequels did not take as long as some other productions. One year after the first meeting in 2002, I had the chance to watch "The Two Towers" and in my opinion the best film of the series. Although there were some disruptions in the Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers was worth watching and the time that passed quickly.
The 2003 film "The Return of the King" was like dessert at the end of a delicious meal. Many criticisms and praises were made about the Lord of the Rings film series. There are some I agree with and some I disagree with. But what I liked the most was that all 3 films were released one after the other. If sequels are to be made, I think the path followed in the Lord of the Rings film series should be an example for many producers.
- The Lord of the Rings The Fellowship of the Ring (2001)
- The Lord of the Rings The Two Towers (2002)
- The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King (2003)
As an audience, while the taste of The Lord of the Rings was still in our mouths (because I watched it many times), we came across The Hobbit series. If I remember correctly (please correct me if I am wrong), the film series about the Middle World before the ring caused mixed feelings, but it was valuable in terms of watchability and in terms of making a journey of discovery to the world of Middle Earth races.
- The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (2012)
- The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug (2013)
- The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies (2014)
We also see the beauty of the Lord of the Rings film series here. I can't help but say that the Avatar film and its sequel, the indecision of making / not making the Avatar sequel, the continuous postponement of the release times infuriated many viewers. Despite everything, I'm looking forward to December for the sequel to Avatar. So to speak, I'm looking forward to December with my mouth open. But if another postponement occurs as a result of any mishap that may occur; I may go out of my mind! lolol
Last night, I watched the first two episodes of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power last night. The history of some productions and names can reach considerable dimensions. The Lord of the Rings film was like that for me. That's why I can watch any film with the Lord of the Rings in the title. Regardless of who shot it or who acted in it!
The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power series, as of the first 2 episodes, is similar to the first film of the film, which I watched and admired in the past, in terms of attempts to create the story. Although I'm not entirely sure, I think it's a pre-Ring story! There are some familiar names due to the longevity of the Elves and I think some new races will be added to Middle-earth!
I'm not sure about the new races yet, but there are some novelties that I haven't seen in both the Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit series. Maybe it could be the Giants from the Hobbit series! The first 2 chapters were the gathering of the heroes and the small proofs of the Orcs' reappearance and threat to Middle-earth, some believe that the Orcs have disappeared, while others believe that the Orcs are regaining strength and preparing to attack. At the end of the second part, new evidence of the Orcs' existence (including the severed head of an Orc) emerges and the story becomes clearer.
I found some of the visuals in the series more realistic than in the Lord of the Rings film (for example, the orcs and dwarves), but I found some of them (the elves) more dull.
Despite everything, the series was enough to arouse the interest and curiosity in the first series of the film. Although I can watch all films about Middle-earth after this hour. Many films can be built on the Universe of Fiction. I hope the producers of the series will be as respectful to the audience as those in the film and will be fast in matters such as filming and completion of the series.
Life is not long enough to wait for some productions for years!
I liked the two episodes I already saw, this series has a lot of potential, let see and enjoy what they do with it.
Yeah, a few more chapters and I think the full story and progress will be clearer.

To be honest, many people are very angry and do not like this adaptation, but after watching the first episode, I even liked it.

If I remember correctly, these criticisms were made at the beginning of the Lord of the Rings film in 2001. Maybe I will agree with the criticisms, maybe I won't, I don't know exactly, but at least it is necessary to wait for a few more episodes.
Thanks!
