RE: The worst movie ever made in the history of cinema?

in CineTV14 days ago

I have an impression that Snow White, regardless how good or bad it is, is paying the price for Disney, and Hollywood in general, having its audience in past years and decades being treated like dirt. This ill-conceived film just broke the camel's back.

And what is even worse that Rachel Zegler appears to be the one who will be unjustifiably scapegoated as the sole source of this fiasco.

I think both, Zegler and Gadot, are paying a very high price for a movie that certainly doesn't deserve the rating it has on IMDb, much less all the controversies surrounding it. This is a worrying reflection of the digital environment today.

I never considered IMDb ratings (or Rotten Tomatoes, for that matter), to be precise indicator of film's quality. Too many times films received unjustifiably high ratings on the account of PR machine saturation or overenthusiastic fans. I suspect the opposite process is at work in case of Snow White.
