En esta oportunidad, quiero compartirles mi opinión respecto a la serie española "El desorden que dejas"; la cual está disponible actualmente en Netflix y cuya producción está basada en el libro del mismo nombre, escrito por Carlos Montero. Anteriormente dediqué esta reseña para una web donde redactaba (al final encontrarás el enlace).
On this occasion, I want to share with you my opinion about the Spanish series "The disorder that you leave"; which is currently available on Netflix and whose production is based on the book of the same name, written by Carlos Montero. Previously I dedicated this review for a website where I wrote (at the end you will find the link).
En primer lugar, quiero destacar la forma en la que está hecha esta serie: dos líneas de tiempo que van explicando en cada episodio los acontecimientos ocurridos. De esa manera, las escenas del «presente» van cobrando sentido a medida que se juntan con las escenas del «pasado»; incluso, me gustó esa unión de ambas líneas en una sola toma. Por ejemplo, cuando Viruca (interpretado por Bárbara Lennie) baja las escaleras del instituto (tiempo pasado) y al salir de la toma vemos a Raquel (interpretado por Imma Cuesta) llegando al mismo lugar (tiempo presente); o también cuando ambas mujeres estaban frente a la estación de la Guardia Civil de Novariz, con un movimiento de cámaras podían verse a las dos profesoras tomando la decisión de entrar o no.
First of all, I want to highlight the way in which this series is made: two timelines that explain the events that have occurred in each episode. In this way, the scenes of the "present" make sense as they are joined with the scenes of the "past"; I even liked that union of both lines in a single take. For example, when Viruca (played by Bárbara Lennie) goes down the stairs of the institute (past tense) and when leaving the shot we see Raquel (played by Imma Cuesta) arriving at the same place (present time); or also when both women were in front of the Novariz Civil Guard station, with a movement of cameras the two teachers could be seen making the decision to enter or not.
De ese modo, el juego de eventos y líneas de tiempo hacen que «El desorden que dejas» me parezca muy interesante; a la vez que se hace intrigante y nos llena de incertidumbre y suspenso por las próximas acciones. Todo eso hace que este thriller nos atrape la atención y nos haga cuestionar a cada personaje; pues con las actitudes que asume cada uno y con los misterios que cada uno posee, todos, sin excepción, son sospechosos del asesinato de Viruca. Desde sus estudiantes; pasando por su exmarido, hasta sus mismos colegas del instituto. Esas sospechas es algo que le da mucho poder a la trama.
In that way, the interplay of events and timelines makes "The disorder You Leave" seem very interesting to me; at the same time that it becomes intriguing and fills us with uncertainty and suspense for the next actions. All of this makes this thriller grab our attention and make us question each character; because with the attitudes that each one assumes and with the mysteries that each one possesses, all, without exception, are suspected of Viruca's murder. From his students; going through her ex-husband, even her own colleagues from the institute. Those suspicions is something that gives a lot of power to the plot.
Otros de los puntos favorables sobre la serie es en la parte actoral, locaciones y detrás de cámaras. No hay que dejar de lado el buen trabajo de cada actor y actriz para hacerse con su personaje. Imma Cuesta se metió bastante en el papel de una profesora tímida y nerviosa; en contraposición a Bárbara Lenie, quien se adaptó al papel de una profesora recta y con más decisión.
Other favorable points about the series are the acting, locations and behind the scenes. We must not ignore the good work of each actor and actress to get their character. Imma Cuesta got quite into the role of a shy and nervous teacher; in contrast to Bárbara Lenie, who adapted to the role of a straight teacher and with more determination.
Y al igual que ellas, cada uno tuvo su momento determinante en la historia gracias a sus limpias actuaciones. Pero aquí tampoco podemos olvidar la buena selección de lugares para grabar; como lo es Galicia. Con solo mirar el entorno, le otorga un aire de misterio a esta serie; con el ambiente en algunos colores opacos que realmente le va muy bien a la trama, y que ayuda a estar atento a las acciones.
And just like them, each one had their defining moment in history thanks to their clean performances. But here we cannot forget the good selection of places to film; as Galicia. Just looking at the environment lends an air of mystery to this series; with the environment in some opaque colors that really suits the plot very well, and that helps to be attentive to the actions.
A todas estas, si eres fan del misterio y suspenso, entonces desde mi opinión sobre la serie «El desorden que dejas» puedo decirte que te gustará; está recomendada, es de esas series que te mantiene a la expectativa por encontrar al misterioso personaje culpable. Muy intrigante, expectante y que en varios episodios te deja preguntas abiertas; las cuales hacen que te enganches con el próximo episodio.
To all of these, if you are a fan of mystery and suspense, from my opinion about the series «The disorder you leave» I can tell you that you will like it; It is recommended, it is one of those series that keeps you waiting to find the mysterious guilty character. Very intriguing, expectant and that leaves you with open questions in several episodes; which make you hooked on the next episode.
