wow i rarely see someone not liking the movies. but from what i can take you know and love the books its probably something to be expected.i thing its better to watch the movie and then read the books than doing it the other way. this is for almost everything being adapted

yeah, I am a bit too much of a purest for the films. Haven't watched Rings of Power as yet, so I have no opinion there. Upside, I recognize just because I didn't like a film (or book, or fill in the blank) doesn't mean other people won't like it. Also, I liked the first film, Fellowship of the Ring, just the second and third films were, um, not to my taste. The cast was great, in the films, it's just the liberties they took with the story line that bothered me.
