Friday Night Movie : Transformer One

in CineTVyesterday

Yo, folks!!!
This will be a movie review, not some depressing Inuke’s cough adventures. Yup, not going to give that cough any more attention. Four back-to-back health updates are Okay, any more of them would make me more sick. And that's why I shifted my focus today on Movies. After all, it is been a while since I watched one, and I dont even remember when I last reviewed it. If you are wondering it was last year September. And I still have movie reviews tagged in my bio. No biggie, I am going to put that drought to rest today. So let us dive into today's movie. It's Transformer One.

I tried very hard to keep the review spoiler-free If you haven't seen the movie yet. I recommend you to skip the review and watch it.

Not the Micheal Bay 2007 action flick. See this is going to be one big problem going forward. Whenever someone says ‘Transformer One’ a good number of people going to confuse this with Micheal Bay’s Transformers. This one is the animated movie that serves as a prequel to that first transformer... That would be a wrong statement. It's more like the origin story. In fact, Transformers Megatron Origin would have been an apt title, But who am I to comment on that?
To be honest, I had no expectations from the franchise. I had no fun recent memory of the Transformers. And If I have any good memories it is from the animated shows Armada and Energon, sadly I never finished the series Cybertron. Cartoon Network used to rock. Coming back to the movie, I was surprised at how good it was. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Even when you can see where the story is heading the script keeps you engaged. The characters were given enough time to leave impact and bond with the audience and beautiful writing keeps the show running. And how the miner bots mean lower rank bots rise to the peak powers. The journey of Orion Pax and D-16 is awesome.
I guess what I love about this movie is that the Bots were more human than the humans from previous live-action entries. Yeah, maybe that's what it was. It was a transformer movie about the transformer. A not about Earth being their home. No annoying smart kid. Although this one still follows the sidequest like searching for the MacGuffin, but that also ties within the story very nicely. Watching this one with the family adds to the experience. Highly recommend this. But just don’t forget that it is still a kids' movie.

I am Inuke,

And I am feeling much better today, I am yet to fully recover but I think I am halfway there. Yesterday's dumb action of stepping into the office (Cold environment) didn't do much good. Instead aggravated the cough a bit more.
So let's focus on recovery.
