I am in favour of this new direction. If you don't know me. I am a big fan of the OG Park movies. Hands down the 1st part still rocks, It still holds up. I mean there are people who dislike the movie saying it's not accurate. To them, I say go watch the news. I just saw the trailer for the new Jurassic World movie and this new one is looking awesome. And I am actually waiting for it. And planning on taking my son to the theatre for his first cinematic experience. Like how my dad took me to Jurassic Park ages ago. I still remember the day and a beautiful memory for a lifetime. Hoping that I can create something like that with my son.
I mean I was excited the same way for Jurassic World and to some point, it did deliver what it promised. Big dinosaurs chomping on the human. The next in the series is what I hated. I mean the movie was getting bad, I mean the OG rocked, and the Lost World was ufff don’t know where to begin. I still had that little girl's gymnastic kick to the raptor burned in my memory. I had only one question, Why? The third part was trying to be awesome but some scenes were goofy. But still ok.
The Jurassic World gave hope. After all, it was a big movie with the idea that the park is now live and open to the public. I like that Idea and to be honest the film did deliver what it promised. Big dinosaurs, Big fights and all the action you can expect from a dinosaur movie.
But that hope has fallen flat with the release of the fallen kingdom. I mean, what the hell was that, the movie was more about annoying people than the dinosaur, the story was about a little girl saving a dinosaur from people. It's a mess, why would you put a social message in a dinosaur movie? Good movies know what they are doing. Do you think people would like John Wick to come and discuss gun violence with someone in some scene? NO!!! Just no. We want dinosaurs to do dinosaur things in the movie, Not people protesting against govt. This movie is on par if not below the Lost World. Bad Bad movie.
And then came the Dominion, I mean where do I begin with this one? It is a movie about the annoying teenager, Locust, Boring people, and dinosaurs are the side characters here. The just pops on the screen sometimes. It was painful sitting through this one. Not going to spoil much as many may not have seen it.

That was pretty cool XD Though the contact with the raptor would have probably stung and the landing would not have been nearly as neat. Good thing it's an action movie with no bearing on reality XD

Yeah I am very excited although the movie would be releasing by Jun so I have plenty of time to build the hype for Yesh.
This is one of my fav pass time where I pretend to be a dinosaur chasing Yesh all around the house. Although my build is more of the brachiosaur than that of the slim sleek raptors. 😅

My daughter and her boyfriend were talking about that in the car on the way home, they're quite excited for it too, and when I told her that you were planning on taking Yesh to see it she got a bit concerned and said she heard it was supposed to be R18+ and supposed to be gorier than the other ones but the trailer didn't look too bad (boyfriend piped up maybe coz they can't put a lot of gore in trailers) and she also said she wasn't sure how true that was.
I might get dragged out to the movies every year or so when sibling dearest is up and she decides she wants to go watch a horror movie as all of her friends
are cowardsdon't like horror movies. I forget most of them. I haven't wanted to watch anything for a while and I probably should for study purposes if nothing else but nothing holds my interest enough to decide to spend time on that instead of banging my head on 3d.This is a surprise. All the previous entries were PG13. There is no need for them to be R Rated imo. The fan base is basically preteens and kids who love dinosaurs. If you are looking for some terrible 3d movies I can suggest if you want. 😅

I assume it's one of those things that you'll check before you take him XD but you said there was a lot of fake trailers flying around so maybe that rumour is also fake.
