When I first watched Get Out I expected it to be just a normal psychological horror movie but the truth was completely different The movie was able to attract me from the first scene and kept me waiting to see what would happen next The story is not just horror and fear it is a deep idea that talks about much bigger things and this is what made me see it as a wonderful movie and different from anything else I have seen before.
The acting was at a very high level especially Daniel Kaluuya who played the main role excellently His way of expressing anxiety and fear was very natural and made me feel as if I was living the moment with him The other characters were also well written and each one had an important role in the story whether directly or indirectly.
What distinguishes Get Out is that it does not scare you in a traditional way like movies that rely on sudden horror scenes but rather relies more on psychological tension and a feeling of discomfort Every scene in the movie was carefully calculated and every detail had a meaning even things that at first seemed normal were later discovered to be hints at something bigger.
I hope to see other movies with the same smart style because honestly its rare to find a horror movie that has a strong idea and a deep meaning Get Out is not just a movie that you watch and forget about its the kind that makes you think about it even after its over and that in itself is evidence that its a successful and influential movie.
Get out it's great, it has an unique premise and follows through it in a really cool way, Jordan Peele's work it's great (I recommend Us and Nope)
