This is the fourth installment of the successful Transformers film franchise, directed by Michael Bay.
The story is set five years after the events of ‘Transformers: Dark of the Moon’, where the battle between Autobots and Decepticons has left Earth devastated and humanity in a state of distrust towards the Transformers.
The plot follows Cade Yeager, played by Mark Wahlberg, an inventor and mechanic who discovers an ancient Optimus Prime, the leader of the Autobots, in a ruined building.

Cade, along with his daughter Tessa (Nicola Peltz) and her boyfriend Shane (Jack Reynor), becomes a target for the government and a corporation called KSI, which seeks to eliminate the Transformers and create its own combat robots.
KSI, led by the villainous Joshua Joyce (Stanley Tucci), has developed a new technology that uses pieces of fallen Transformers to create a new breed of robots, but these lack the essence and morality of the Autobots.
As the story progresses, Cade and his family join Optimus Prime and the Autobots to fight the KSI threat and a new enemy, Lockdown, an intergalactic bounty hunter who seeks to capture Optimus.

The film features intense action sequences, explosions and epic battles between the Autobots, the Dinobots and the robots created by KSI.
One of the central themes is the struggle for survival and redemption. Cade, who feels responsible for protecting his family and the Autobots, must face his own fears and doubts as he battles forces that seek to destroy what is left of his world.
The relationship between Cade and his daughter Tessa is also explored, showing the family dynamic amidst the chaos.
