Hello my beloved hivers and community members. Hope you all are fine. Today I am back with another movie review which is Kanguva.
Plot and Review
So Kanguwa has finally arrived in the market I mean in theaters starring my favorite Surya in lead dual role and your favorite Bobby Deval as the main villain and everyone's favorite Disha Patani. I saw the movie in Hindi dubbed version.

If you see the trailer. You must have understood what the pattern of the movie is - old time story, reincarnation, future story etc. And it's true. Actually the setup is hundreds of years old and also of the modern era where the back story takes place in the era of year 1070 and modern.
The story takes place in today's generation i.e. 2024 but man what kind of starting is that I mean only the first half if If you want to rate it, I will not even give two stars to this movie. What was the need to create a forceful comedy by over-aggrandizing it so much when you had such a good concept, brother, whatever comedy they have created was looking very irritating.
With the legend Yogi Babu, God knows what obsession these people of South have got, on the other hand, she went to Kalki with Disha Patani in the name of acting and showed off her figure. Here also, if acting was based only on the figure, then Malai's Arora, Jacqueline would have got the Oscar.
Then we come to the second half in which all the characters are shouting so much that your head will start hurting at a moment, your Surya, Bobby Deol and that one. There is a child in it too, man, the side characters are also just shouting. On top of that, amidst their shouting, such loud music is playing, I said, no, brother, I can no longer bear it for a second.
Still, the story line has been kept with pace in the first half but the first half was not even tolerable. I am seriously saying that I had gone with very high expectations and was expecting from the movie because of its teaser. The trailer made me a little disappointed, waiting for this movie but everything was washed away brother, the topic on which this movie is made, its execution was not good, camera work is ok but presentation and story telling.
This movie is not able to prove itself. Even VFX has a cameo which is very good. It was very good but that one cam will not be able to save this movie. Bobby Deol was only in an extended cameo and was very much under. His was an utilized character, neither were there any fear of him nor was the character itself so strong and the presentation was not strong enough to have any impact on the story line but Surya.
The work was just a portion of the movie which was good but that too not a modern one with a back story and Disha, leave it alone brother, just the glamor overall this movie disappointed me a lot due to which the movie proved to be below average for me.
So for this reason, keeping a stone in the heart, this movie is two out of five stars. The movie is family friendly. You can watch it if you want, if you like explosive movies, like rebirth movies, mass masala type. You like such movies, go ahead, go and watch with your family and yes, at last, the second part of the movie has also been announced, I don't know with what confidence, but yes, I hope that something good will be shown in the next part, now we can only hope.
