Continuing with this rant, this is a good point you make about the massive amounts of books out there. Having a story written already makes it much easier to develop an idea because all the heavy lifting has already been done. If somebody took the Dragonlance series by Margaret Weis & Tracy Hickman and made a good movie or series, I'd be a happy man. What about Piers Anthony's Xanth series and David Edding's The Belgariad? This is just in the fantasy genre. Ah well, here's to hoping for better flicks in the future 🍷

Oh yes, a film on the Dragonlance series would be a blockbuster if they don't ruin the story in its adaptation! 😄 Coincidentally, I saw Taskmaster's take on the strikes and how Hollywood is failing and it just makes sense! Hehe.
