En esta oportunidad el concurso es sobre una película cuyo tema sea el océano, decidí seleccionar una cuyos actores no son tan famosamente reconocidos, cuyo título me lleno de grandes expectativas. La sublevación de los océanos me pareció impresionante y prometedor.

SPANISH VERSION
Está enfocada en desastres naturales, fue producida en 2017 por Syfy y The Asylum. Dirigida y escrita por Adam Lipsius. Protagonizada por Jason Tobias, Summer Spiro, DeJean Brown, Paola Menacho y Hari Williams. Ciertamente no fue para nada bien recibida, en cuanto a estrellas tiene 1,9/10 en FilmAffinity, se le critica también de tener una trama sin sentido alguno y diálogos inentendibles. A continuación mis impresiones.
Inicia con la típica reacción del científico que es capaz de ver el desastre que se avecina, su esposa también trabaja en la misma estación, pero ella está más interesada en cuidar su puesto. Su esposo no lo tolera y les advierte la destrucción de la tierra si no hacen algo, pero lo ignoran. Lo sacan de la reunión y contrario a lo que estamos acostumbrados a ver en este estilo de película, renuncia se va a preparar un barco con provisiones para tratar de salvarse y salvar a la mayor cantidad de gente.
Pasan tres años para que su advertencia se haga realidad su ahora exesposa lo busca para que los ayude a salvar el mundo y justo en ese momento empieza los temblores en el océano.
La película me decepciono terriblemente, tenían todas las herramientas humanas y materiales para realizar un drama que se ajustara al título, este se quedó anulado con la poca pasión en la actuación que ameritaba dramatismo creíble. Creo que no supieron aprovechar todo el potencial humano y técnico que tenían.
Me consolé al encontrar que en el desarrollo de la película se resaltó la parte empática entre ellos, cuando la protagonista decide adoptar al niño que quedó huérfano y cuando el científico rescato a las diez personas que estaban a la deriva en el océano. Aunque en honor a la verdad, este momento que apelo a mis emociones no rescata la película de haber desperdiciado tantos buenos recursos.

It was certainly not well received at all, with a 1.8/10 star rating on FilmAffinity, it is also criticized for having a nonsensical plot and unintelligible dialogues. Here are my impressions.
It starts with the typical reaction of the scientist who is able to see the disaster coming, his wife also works at the same station, but she is more interested in taking care of her job. Her husband won't stand for it and warns them of the destruction of the earth if they don't do something, but they ignore him. He is pulled out of the meeting and contrary to what we are used to seeing in this style of movie, he resigns and goes to prepare a ship with supplies to try to save himself and as many people as possible.
Three years go by before his warning comes true and his now ex-wife looks for him to help them save the world and just at that moment the tremors in the ocean start.
The film disappointed me terribly, they had all the human and material tools to make a drama that fit the title, this was nullified with little passion in the acting that warranted credible drama. I don't think they knew how to take advantage of all the human and technical potential they had.
I was consoled to find that in the development of the film the empathetic part between them was highlighted, when the protagonist decides to adopt the child who was orphaned and when the scientist rescued the ten people who were adrift in the ocean. Although in all honesty, this moment that appeals to my emotions does not rescue the film from having wasted so many good resources.
